Our Tri-Year Chevys

The 1955 was the first year Chevrolet made the V-8 engine available in a production car. This car really brings meaning to the statement, "Lost in the 50's"

We owned this car for a few years in the mid 90's and really enjoyed the trips to the local Sonic for burgers, fries and of course a "shake".

The car above is our long term project that we hope to finish some day.  The car is currently in green primer and going through a frame off restoration.  I'm still uncertain as to what color to paint the car but leaning toward "red" and "white". This picture was taken the day we brought it home. It was a 283ci , 4 speed car with 4:11 gears, but that to will probably change as it is being restored.  Time will tell...
